Hong Kong police fire tear gas as protesters return to streets despite coronavirus fears

Hong Kong police fired tear gas on Saturday (February 29) during a rally by hundreds of protesters to mark six months since authorities stormed a subway station and made arrests.

Some protesters hurled Molotov cocktails and set up road blocks.

"Hong Kong police get into scuffles with people, shoot tear gas and yell at journalists during a clearance operation on Nathan Road in Mong Kok," said the filmer, a local journalist. "At least one person is seen detained by the police after this scuffle."
