Hong Kong cruise ship ordered back to port for virus testing

A Hong Kong cruise ship carrying 3,700 people was ordered back to port on Wednesday for virus testing after nine people were found to be close contacts in an Omicron variant outbreak. The city has introduced new strict virus curbs including a flight ban on eight countries, as well as shuttering bars and gyms and cancelling evening restaurant dining after Omicron was detected in the international business hub.
