Homes Evacuated as Firefighters Battle Aquila Blaze Outside Phoenix

Residents in northern Phoenix were told to evacuate from a growing wildfire on June 23.

The Aquila fire broke out near the Desert Hills area at around 2:30 pm local time. Firefighting authorities said the blaze was at least 1000 acres by around 5 pm.
