Homes Engulfed in Flames as Beckwourth Complex Fire Rages in Doyle, California

More than a dozen homes were destroyed in Doyle, California, as the Beckwourth Complex Fire raced through the area on Saturday, July 10, local media reported.

This footage, taken by firefighter Craig Philpott, shows crews responding to the blaze as it encroached on homes in the area.

The Beckwourth Complex Fire was formed after the Sugar and Dotta fires merged near California’s border with Nevada. As of July 13, the blaze measured 92,988 acres and was 46 percent contained, according to officials. Credit: Craig Philpott via Storyful
