Several homes were damaged when a possible tornado struck Stillwater, New York, on August 29, local media reported.
This footage, recorded by Kristina Combs, shows power lines and trees downed by high winds along NY-40 near Stillwater. A house with severe roof damage is also seen in the video.
The Commissioner of Emergency Services in Saratoga County, Carl Zeilman, told the The Daily Gazette there were no reported injuries as of August 29.
“We can’t confirm a tornado touchdown yet, but I’m being told the National Weather Service will come out and make a determination as early as tomorrow morning,” he said. Credit: Kristina Combs via Storyful
