Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested for second-degree domestic violence on New Year’s Day, marking his third arrest in 18 months.

Bryan, 43, who played Brad Taylor, the eldest of three sons on Home Improvement, was taken into custody in South Carolina after a physical fight in a Myrtle Beach residence.

Page Six reported that the actor was first detained in a holding cell at around 8:30 p.m., and was taken to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center the next day because he couldn’t make the $10,000 bail.

His mugshot, obtained by WMBF News, showed Bryan with scratches on his face.

Reps for Bryan have not responded to a request for comment from the Daily Beast.

In February, he was arrested for DUI in California. In late October, the actor was arrested for DUI in Oklahoma.

In 2020, Bryan was arrested in Oregon for allegedly strangling his then-girlfriend, calling the situation “blown out of proportion” in a 2023 article by The Hollywood Reporter. Bryan was charged with felony strangulation, two counts of assault in the fourth degree, coercion, two counts of menacing, harassment, and interfering with making a report.

Bryan has only landed minor film and TV roles since his days on the hit sitcom Home Improvement, most recently in the TV series The Guardians of Justice (Will Save You) in 2022.
