Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away killer Colby Thorne is defeated again on UK screens next week as Angelo Rosetta continues to stay one step ahead of him.

Colby (Tim Franklin) is finally facing the consequences of murdering his abusive stepfather Ross Nixon, as Angelo has now gathered together enough evidence to arrest and charge him.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Angelo (Luke Jacobz) remains smug about the progress he has made. He boasts that Colby won't be able to come up with the bail funds he needs to secure freedom ahead of the trial.

Colby's friend Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) then decides to intervene, using her own funds to pay his bail money and ensure that he is allowed home in the days before the court case.

Once Colby is free again, he turns his attentions to finding out who has betrayed him by giving evidence to Angelo.

As Angelo struggled for weeks to gather enough proof that Colby killed Ross, it's clear that somebody must have tipped the scales by blabbing about what they know.

Colby's behaviour becomes increasingly erratic as he makes wild accusations, even accusing Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) of speaking to Angelo.

Dean Thompson (Patrick O'Connor) has to step in to defend Ziggy, warning Colby not to hassle her again.

When Angelo learns that Colby is hell-bent on discovering the identity of the witness, he swoops in to place a suppression order on this key information.

Later in the week, Colby is sent the witness list for his trial and hopes to finally see who'll be testifying against him.

Unfortunately, the crucial details he needed are all redacted in the documents and his mystery betrayer is referred to only as Witness X.

Colby realises there's now nothing he can do until the trial, when he'll finally find out who has secretly sided with Angelo.

Colby, Dean, Bella (Courtney Miller) and Willow (Sarah Roberts) all shift their focus onto enjoying a last supper together ahead of the court case beginning the next day.

Home and Away airs these scenes on Tuesday, January 26 and Friday, January 29 at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5.
