'Holy Smokes': Storm Chaser Films Large Tornado in North Texas
A storm chaser recorded a large tornado approaching the road just ahead of him south of Vernon, Texas, on May 4.
The National Weather Service warned those in the path of the storm to “take cover immediately” as a tornado moved toward nearby Lockett, where damage was reported.
Video filmed by Jake Nea shows him drive towards the vortex as it approaches the road in front of him.
