Hollywood celebrities react to Queen Elizabeth’s death

STORY: Israeli actor Gal Gadot said at D23, the Disney convention in Anaheim, "She's going to leave a long legacy, a beautiful respectful legacy behind her. May she rest in peace."

Jake Gyllenhaal, who is lending his voice to upcoming animation 'Strange World' said, "It's an incredibly sad time for the country and for the family."

"I was just very lucky to be part of something, the Olympics, and to get to work with her on something that I think a lot of people enjoyed and liked and laughed at," Daniel Craig said on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Actor Edward Norton said he admired Queen Elizabeth's "tenacity."

"I think anybody that stays that sharp and that in service into their 90's is to be saluted," said Norton.

British actor Jude Law, who is starring as Captain Hook in 'Peter Pan & Wendy', said "I think one has to remember her with now just the respect, her life, and duty well-lived deserved. You also have to look to the future and think about what Charles could bring to the monarchy and the country."
