From Digital Spy

Hollyoaks might be cutting down its regular schedule amid the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but it's instead offering fans something different in the form of Hollyoaks Favourites.

To fill the 'Oaks-shaped gap in our lives, the Channel 4 soap will be repeating classic episodes from across the years on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays over on E4.

Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay) and former star Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen) will be on hand to introduce the re-runs, and now Jorgie has revealed which episodes she considers her own favourites.

Speaking to RadioTimes.com, Jorgie declared "all of Theresa's episodes" her favourites (natch), before singling out some of the character's best moments.

"I loved doing Hollyoaks Later in 2012, where Brendan Brady went crazy," she revealed. "The 'Who shot Calvin?' storyline was definitely one of my favourite times, it wasn't revealed who the killer was until very last minute – and it was me! That was a big storyline.

"It was also one of the first flash-forwards that all the soaps are doing now. We set a precedent! I also remember doing a three-hander which was great," Jorgie added.

Kieron has also shared his nomination for Hollyoaks Favourites, taking a slightly different approach to Jorgie. "One of my personal favourites [is one] I'm not even in," he told Digital Spy.

"[It's] the pub exploding, nearly 15 years ago now. The episode started with five body bags on the floor. I'd only just got the job myself back then, but I felt from that episode on, it was like a new era of Hollyoaks where everyone started talking about it again.

"Another favourite of mine is the Brendan and the teacup episode – I think die-hard fans will know which episode I'm on about there! I also love anything with Clare Devine in it."

While Hollyoaks Favourites has kicked things off with a classic Mercedes McQueen wedding, Kieron hinted that fans might soon be seeing the return of one Brendan Brady. Fingers crossed!

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
