Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring wants Cindy Cunningham to marry Luke Morgan
Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring has opened up about her big hope for character Cindy Cunningham's future on the soap.
Cindy has faced a number of challenges lately, namely Luke Morgan's frontotemporal dementia diagnosis as well as his son Ollie's drug issues.
However, Stephanie has expressed hope that Cindy and Luke will eventually tie the knot – even though she hasn't had the best luck with marriage in the past.
"Cindy's had enough weddings, but I still think they should get married!" she told Inside Soap.
"That'd be wedding number six for her, but I think that's what's destined for Cindy and Luke…".
Speaking further about the couple, Stephanie added: "I love this pairing – they're so alike! They both enjoy the extracurricular activities, and they just seem to have this passion for each other.

"They have such a spark, and I think it's because I've known Gary [Lucy] since we were teenagers, so being opposite him is so easy."
In new scenes on the soap, Cindy and Luke discover that Ollie is still taking drugs despite him assuring them he has turned over a new leaf, as they urge him to open up to them.
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
