Hare joined the soap back in June of this year but it was recently confirmed that her character had accidentally murdered her sister Liza off screen.
Feeling a little sympathetic for her alter-ego, the star weighed in on this twist during a recent chat with Inside Soap.
"I was shocked!" she said of her initial reaction to the script.
"I knew there had to be some kind of secret, as her mum just left her in the village. But when I was reading the script, I felt instantly connected and dead upset for Cher.
"It was a complete accident, she didn't mean it to happen. I felt lucky to be given the chance to play that, and thankfully, the viewers felt sorry for Cher too."
On Cher and Romeo Nightingale possibly shacking up together, Hare teased: "They're complete opposites, but I think that's what makes them work.
"They decide to plan an illegal rave this week, and it could go one of two ways – they'll either argue or it might just be what they need to finally bring them together..."
