Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks star Adam Woodward has revealed more details about Buster Smith's return.
Nathan Sussex is set to reprise his role as the evil Buster for next week's scenes, with Brody Hudson (Woodward) desperately seeking closure over the abuse he suffered.
In upcoming scenes, Sienna will be left horrified when Brody tells her that he and Damon went to the prison to try to get an apology from Buster. But as you'd probably expect, he doesn't get the response he was hoping for.
"Brody has not completely dealt with the demons from his past. It's like a wound that you can't stop picking at," Woodward told Inside Soap.
"He just can't help himself – he will keep going back to try and get answers, try to get an apology, try to get some kind of closure. However, I don't think he will ever get that."
Eventually, Brody gets the apology he was looking for, but he soon realises it was an insincere one.
"At first, Brody thinks he's got what he wants, but Ollie finds out about it and questions Buster's intentions," said Woodward.
"So when Brody goes back to the prison to meet Buster with Ollie, he quickly realises that the only reason Buster gave him an apology was so that he could manipulate the situation in his favour.
"And then everything comes crumbling down around Brody once again."
Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Tuesday, September 22 and Wednesday, September 23 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
