The new Ollie Morgan has arrived in Hollyoaks to kick off a dark new storyline.

Newcomer Gabriel Clark has taken over the role of Luke Morgan's son, following Aedan Duckworth's departure from the soap earlier in the year.

Thursday's (November 5) first-look E4 episode featured Luke (Gary Lucy) bringing Ollie back to the village, after being kicked out of his mum's house for stealing.

It was clear that Ollie had been changed by the recent traumatic events in his life, as evidenced by a fraught run-in with ex-girlfriend Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant) in the village.

"I want you to know how sorry I am," he insisted, but Brooke wasn't so easy to forgive: "You left the village without even saying goodbye, then you ignored every call and message I sent. I'm telling you now, you're going to have to do a lot more than just 'sorry'."

Ollie was thrown immediately back into the fire when Nancy (Jessica Fox) accused him of stealing Kyle's gold watch from her home, after hearing what he'd done back at home.

"You're a thief and you've stolen a dead man's watch," Nancy insisted.

Ollie denied he'd taken the watch, telling her: "I know how much Kyle meant to you and Brooke. I wouldn't do that to you."

Luke backed up his son, with viewers later finding out that it was actually John Paul McQueen who'd stolen the watch to pay off the latest blackmail on his family.

Over at Luke and Cindy's place, Ollie was trying to convince his future step-mum that he wouldn't have stolen from Nancy.

"Us three and Hilton are a family. As long as we're open and honest with each other, everything's going to be fine," Luke insisted.
