Hollyoaks' Mercedes McQueen has an accident after Silas discovery

Hollyoaks' Mercedes McQueen will have a devastating accident, after a terrifying conversation with Silas Blissett.
The Channel 4 soap will be revisiting Silas' sinister role in the McQueens' ongoing blackmail nightmare, as he switches his attention to Sylver's teenage daughter Cher (Bethannie Hare).
A pregnant Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) will be left horrified after she realises that Silas is back in the village – and has a vulnerable Cher in his sights.

With Sylver (David Tag) fearing that the next sin is regarding Cher's dark secret, he frantically tries to find the cash to pay the blackmailer.
However, Mercedes is confused when she realises that Sylver has turned to Felix for financial help and wants to know why he is going to such desperate measures.
While Sylver frantically tries to save Cher from the doll, she is preparing to make her relationship with Romeo official.
But Cher is left devastated when her world implodes and she soon begins drowning her sorrows. Later, she walks into unknowing danger when she comes face to face with serial killer Silas.
With a drunk Cher now in Silas's dangerous clutches, Mercedes panics when she receives a picture message of Cher from the blackmailer.
Fearing for Cher, Mercedes decides to take matters into her own hands and track down the mystery tormenter.
Mercedes is adamant that enough is enough, but a call from Silas soon leaves her terrified and a devastating accident ensues. Will she and the baby be okay?
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
