Hollyoaks' Liberty in shock reversal over Sienna's baby

Liberty Savage has had a shock reversal over Sienna Blake and Brody Hudson's baby in Hollyoaks.
The soap aired the first-ever socially-distanced birthing scene earlier this week, when Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart) gave birth with help from Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi).
In Thursday's (September 24) first-look episode, Liberty was rushed into surgery with post-natal bleeding while Sienna (Anna Passey) and Brody (Adam Woodward) were told that their daughter was having trouble breathing due to neonatal asphyxia.
Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) also stirred up trouble between the couple by revealing to Brody that Sienna had "bunked off" school a few days earlier to meet up with him in secret.
After a bust-up with Brody for lying, Sienna angrily confronted Warren for deliberately trying to cause problems in her relationship during this high-stress period.
"I don't know what to do about [Brody], or Liberty or the baby. I'm going to lose them all," she feared. "They're gonna die. I pushed her into this, and now my sister and baby are both going to die."
With Warren backing down, Sienna returned to the hospital to find that Liberty was recovering from surgery – not noticing the pain in her sister's eyes when she was referred to as "Auntie Liberty".
Sienna was also thrilled to hear from Brody that their daughter was coping well with oxygen treatment, telling him that he is "the calm to [her] chaos".
But as the new parents were relishing in meeting their baby daughter, Liberty was coming to a realisation of her own while all alone in her hospital bed.
"She's my baby. I'm her mummy," Liberty insisted.
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 7pm with first-look episodes on E4, while Channel 4 airs repeat presentations at 6.30pm the following evening.
