Hollyoaks' Liberty heartbroken as Sienna and Brody reunite

From Digital Spy

Liberty Savage has been left heartbroken in Hollyoaks over Sienna Blake and Brody Hudson rekindling their romance.

Recent weeks have seen Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart) reconnecting with Brody (Adam Woodward) as they contemplated raising their baby without Sienna (Anna Passey), but Sienna's sudden reappearance has changed everything.

Sienna has once again asked Liberty to let her raise the child her sister is carrying, in addition to Wednesday's (April 1) first-look revealing a love triangle in the works.

Brody and Warren (Jamie Lomas) were the first to comfort Sienna when she heard the news that Sebastian's bone marrow transplant might not go ahead as planned because of some abnormal test results.

Old feelings seemed to blossom between the two once again as Brody assured Sienna that he would be standing by her through this difficult time.

The two were later surprised with some wonderful news when Warren shared that Sebastian had made a turnaround and was now responding well to his treatment.

Liberty's relief for her nephew was blunted when Brody chose to reconcile with Sienna, rather than pursue their romance any further.

"When you see a little kid fighting for his life, everything else just seems silly," Liberty explained while masking her true feelings for Brody. "What you felt, or thought you felt, it's just not important anymore."

With Liberty bowing out, Brody ultimately shared a romantic kiss with Sienna after telling her: "So much has changed these last few months, except for one thing: I'm still hopelessly in love with you."

Last week, Anna Passey dropped hints that Liberty would not be able to keep Brody keen once Sienna was back in the villa.

"I think Brody and Sienna are made for each other, and I think they are genuinely in love," she explained. "I think Brody is hurt and confused by his sense of responsibility for the baby, but I think his heart truly belongs to Sienna (Sorry, Lib!)."

Hollyoaks airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm. Wednesdays through Fridays on E4 will feature classic episodes called Hollyoaks Favourites to compensate for the soap suspending filming in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
