Hollyoaks has confirmed which memorable storyline it's going to revisit in next week's Hollyoaks Favourites line-up.
To account for the soap being unable to put out as much new material as usual due to coronavirus-related production halts, the long-running series has been airing classic episodes towards the end of each working week.
Now, ahead of next week's batch kicking off on Wednesday, July 7, E4 has revealed that it's going to look back on Tony Hutchinson and partner Mandy Richardson's heartbreaking baby tragedy.
The first of the three instalments, which was first broadcast in May 2006, will see new parents Tony (Nick Pickard) and Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) leave their 7-month-old daughter Grace with Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) and Hannah (Emma Rigby), while they go out for the evening.
When they return home from the restaurant, Mandy struggles to wake Grace up, resulting in the pair of them calling an ambulance.
The second episode, which will air the following evening, will focus on the couple's grief, after paramedics fail to resuscitate the infant.
Lastly, the third outing is set to be an episode that aired much later – in 2013. In it, Tony takes a trip down memory lane with pregnant partner Diane O'Connor (Alex Fletcher), only for his surprisingly revealing visions to take a backseat when her water breaks.
