Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks villain Edward Hutchinson will panic when his dark secrets threaten to be exposed next month.
Edward (Joe McGann) is obsessed with having a long-term future with Diane, having successfully sabotaged her marriage to his son Tony.
More recently, Edward has recruited his daughter's boyfriend Kurt Benson into his manipulative scheme to keep Diane and Tony apart.
Confident that everything is going in his favour, Edward plans to propose to Diane, unaware that she could be slipping through his fingers.
That's because Diane is left raging with jealousy after hearing that Tony has
slept with another woman.
Unable to hold back, Diane confronts Tony, who responds by questioning why she's so bothered.
Diane attempts to keep up the facade by insisting that she's happy with Edward, but Tony takes the opportunity to admit that he still loves her and wants her back.
While Diane ponders what to do, another problem for Edward is unfolding elsewhere as Verity is rapidly losing patience with him.
As Verity grows increasingly angry with her dad over everything he's done, she is pushed to breaking point when Edward blames her for her mother's death.
Horrified, Verity swears revenge and vows to tell Diane everything.
As a result, Edward panics that his malicious secrets are about to come out and takes drastic action to silence someone he loves – framing Tony in the process. Who is in danger?
