Last year, Hollyoaks celebrated New Year's Eve with a flashforward episode that teased where several characters will be in 12 months' time.
Now, in the run-up to 2020's last episode, the Channel 4 soap has challenged some of its cast members to answer the same questions they did back in 2019, in order to see how different their comebacks are.
The interviews are set to be released at 5pm every day this week, starting today (Monday, December 21). First in the hot seat, it's Niamh Blackshaw (Juliet Nightingale), who was asked what her "best news" of each was.
In 2019, she said: "I've got a new car, I've got good storylines at work coming up. I can stay here and work and carry on being happy." In 2020, however, she said she was most thrilled about the possibility of there being a coronavirus vaccine rolled out in the near future.
"A potential vaccine? I've heard rumours of that going 'round... That's good news," she noted.
Elsewhere, Talia Grant, who plays Brooke Hathaway, was asked what their biggest achievement of 2020 was, to which they replied: "Coming out to people has been probably the biggest achievement, coming out as non-binary.
"That's probably been one of the biggest transitions in my life and also the biggest achievement." (Back in 2019, they gave themselves a shout-out for bagging five award nominations).

For Romeo Nightingale actor Owen Warner, this last year has just cemented how he felt when he was quizzed before, as he doubled down on how important his family is to him and how his "best news" is that they are "happy, healthy, and are all just living life".
More recently, he explained: "I said that [last year] not knowing about everything that was going to happen. I'll say that same answer… I miss my family man, I really miss my family."
Other actors taking part across the series include Haiesha Mistry (Yazz Maalik); Billy Price (Sid); Charlie Behan (Charlie) and Erin Palmer (Ella). Fans can check out the full interviews on Hollyoaks' YouTube channel.
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
