Huge Hollyoaks spoilers follow from the show's festive box set, which is available to watch now on All4. These episodes will not air on Channel 4 and E4 until next week, so if you'd prefer to find out who dies then, this article is not for you.
Hollyoaks has finally resolved its body bag mystery after 12 months of speculation.
The show left fans on tenterhooks in December 2019 when a New Year flashforward episode showed a body bag and crime scene outside The Hutch.
Few clues were offered over the unlucky victim's identity, aside from confirmation that the tragedy would tie in with the show's County Lines drug dealing story.
Hollyoaks has now finally given viewers the answers they were desperate for in a special All4 box-set, which has made a number of episodes available to watch on-demand ahead of their TV airings on E4 and Channel 4. Fans can check this out now by clicking here.
If you don't want to know who gets killed off, this is your last chance to look away…
Jordan Price, the criminal who has overseen the drug dealing in the village, was the character who was killed off in the hour-long New Year episode.
The villain was stabbed amid a showdown with Charlie Dean and Ella Richardson at The Hutch, as the schoolchildren believed they were in danger.
Tragically, Jordan had just taken steps to redeem himself by refusing orders from evil Victor Brothers to kill Sid Sumner and Juliet Nightingale.
Convinced that Jordan still posed a threat, Charlie and Ella panicked when they came face-to-face with him in the empty restaurant. In the chaos that followed, Jordan was stabbed and was already dead by the time the emergency services arrived.
Charlie later confessed to the police that he'd committed the fatal attack, but a subsequent flashback showed that – unbeknown to everyone else – he was merely covering for Ella, the real culprit.
The shocking on-screen developments followed Jordan's attempts to recruit a number of the local teens into drug dealing since arriving in the village in December 2019.
Despite his bad behaviour, viewers have also seen a softer side to Jordan, who was particularly vulnerable when taking orders from his fearsome boss Victor.
Future episodes will explore the consequences of Jordan's death and whether the local teens can now escape from Victor's web. Plus, will the truth ever come out over Ella's guilt?
Viewers who watch at E4 pace can see Jordan's death scene on Monday, December 28 in the hour-long New Year episode. The Channel 4 broadcast will follow as usual the next evening.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
