After a summer-long hiatus, the nation’s favourite ‘work husband and wife’ Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are back on our screens presenting This Morning.
Given their long break, the pair were determined to make an entrance with their first show back and, joined by the cast of the Mary Poppins West End show, Schofield attempted his best Cockney accent as Bert from the beloved movie, and Willoughby 'flew down' with an umbrella, much like the titular character.
But while their acting attempt divided fans, Willoughby's new hair style and block colour outfit impressed.
The 41-year-old offset her new, longer - and blonder - locks with a red tailored midi skirt and relaxed button-down shirt in the vibrant shade.
Much to fans' delight, the mother-of-three has returned to posting her daily outfits on Instagram again after her summer off, too.
“And we’re back… good luck to everyone going back to school this week…” she wrote, before giving followers an update on her own daughter. “Belle starts year 7 today… big girl now…”
“So good to be back at @thismorning with @schofe see you at 10am,” she added, sharing details of her vibrant power outfit.
Not only is the skirt and shirt combination from two of our favourite high street brands, Willoughby’s skirt is also currently on sale with 40% off, reduced from £59 to £35.40 (at time of writing).
The flattering midi skirt sits on the waist, highlighting and features a subtle slit at the front for easy movement.
The skirt is the ‘Tailored Midi Wiggle Skirt’ and is stocked in sizes six to 16 on the brand’s website.
Whiteman paired the vibrant red skirt with a silk button-down blouse in the same red hue by & Other Stories.
The £95 shirt is the 'Shell Button Silk Blouse' and is also available in green, black and lilac.
Willoughby teamed the ensemble with subtle nude suede court shoe heels, and wore her signature blonde hair in a new style with extensions.
“I told my hairdresser that I wanted something a bit different, and she worked her magic,” Willoughby told her co-host.
Fans were grateful for the TV host's return from holiday, and many couldn't help but admire her new look and hairstyle on social media.
"i love this outfit it's gorgeous, so glad to finally have you back," wrote one user on Instagram, whilst another chimed in: "Loving the longer hair!"
"Holly's hair is gorgeous," swooned one fan on Twitter. "Makes me want to get extensions now too."
"Wow love the red & your hair is #hairgoals," added another.
"Holly never gets it wrong!" declared one fan. "She looks so good with longer hair."
Both of Holly's high street heroes are great investment pieces for the autumn and winter months ahead. Pair with a matching hue, like the presenter, for an eye-catching look, or switch the skirt out for denim jeans for an elevated take on smart-casual.
