Making the most of the good weather this weekend, Holly Willoughby cooled off in swimwear while working on edits for her upcoming book.

The TV presenter, 40, donned a blue-striped bikini top in a sunny selfie taken from a garden chair.

Captioning the image, shared to Instagram, the mother-of-three wrote: "Saturday’s in the sunshine... it doesn’t get any better... using the time to make the final edits to my book Reflections.

"Going through the manuscript, adding, clarifying, tweaking... getting it just perfect for you... not too much longer now…"

The star could be seen clasping a pen and pink folder, which perfectly complemented her blue and white-striped bikini top.

It has been confirmed as Freya's 'Beach Hut' padded bikini top, which costs £36 from John Lewis – and is available with a matching pair of £19 bikini bottoms.

The chic swimwear features lightly padded cups, as well as adjustable straps that it is also possible to detach.

Willoughby's fans shared their appreciation for the relaxed, off-duty snap, and left more than 92,000 'likes'.

The presenter Angela Scanlon commented: "Can we talk about your swimsuit?!"

Another follower wrote: "You look amazing!"

Many told her how excited they were to read her memoir, Reflections, which comes out in October.

Close friend Emma Bunton shared: "Can't wait!"

In April, Willoughby announced on Instagram that she had penned her first book.

The star said: "Writing is such a personal process and between these pages you will find many little pieces of me.

"The book is called Reflections and is essentially thoughts and musings from me on inner and outer beauty."

She added: "I can’t wait to share it with you all and yet can’t help but feel nervous at the same time...I think the more important something is... the scarier it feels... deep breath."
