Hole Lotta Love: Man Uses Drone to Send Doughnuts to Police Officers in Erie, Pennsylvania

A man in Erie, Pennsylvania, decided to end 2020 by sending some doughnuts to local police officers using a drone and some string on December 31. Alex Beech originally posted this video to YouTube.

The footage shows the drone, operated by Beech, flying to the police station with a note informing an officer that doughnuts are on the way. An officer is seen stepping out of his car to read the note. The officer is seen waving at the camera as the drone ascends.

Beech put a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts in a bag that he then attached to the drone and flew back to the police station. The officer who originally read the note gives a thumbs-up and accepts the treat.

Beech told Storyful, “This project took a good bit of planning on my end, and I figured it would be a great way to end 2020.” Credit: Alex Beech via Storyful
