Holby City's Essie Di Lucca faces new turmoil after Sacha reunion
Holby City is lining up two major twists for Essie Di Lucca as her world begins to unravel tonight (February 26).
The BBC medical drama will air a one-off Wednesday outing this evening, with scheduling changes meaning the show isn't showing next Tuesday as usual.
Tonight's dramatic episode will see Essie feeling loved up following her long-awaited reunion with Sacha Levy, but her happy bubble is soon burst thanks to her scorned ex-boyfriend Ben.
Already reeling from his split with Essie, Ben's mood only gets worse when he learns the real reason behind her change of heart.
Realising that Essie dumped him for Sacha, Ben is furious and wastes no time in exposing her biggest secret to her best friend Dom.
Ben horrifies Dom by telling him the truth about Essie's illegal agreement regarding baby Isla's care – implying that the nurse isn't as honest as she makes out to be.

However, when Dom confronts Essie over the lies she told, he also takes the opportunity to reveal that perhaps she didn't actually know Ben as well as she thought, either.
As Dom spills the beans about his kiss with Ben, Essie is horrified and refuses to forgive him for the betrayal. Is their friendship ruined beyond repair?
Holby City airs tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
