Kotb, who's a mom to daughters Hope, 5, and Haley, 7, then hilariously imitated the motion of the automatic sliding doors on her new car, saying, "You push the buttons, click! And the doors go woosh."

"And, let me explain, me and a minivan is like a dream," she continued. "I've wanted it and I haven't had it. Also, I am sometimes carpool mom. I can only take three kids because there's no other room. Not anymore! I cannot wait for it."

Co-host Jenna Bush Hager then chimed in, sharing that while most "city people" are "a little resistant" to move to the suburbs, "Hoda has moved to the 'burbs and she has dove right in — PTA, Tupperware and now, a minivan."

"The minivan is like the best of it all!" Kotb exclaimed. "I cannot wait. I can't wait to push the buttons and have the kids climb in, put the sports gear in the back, have all the stuff."

Bush Hager quipped, "I mean, you are living the American dream."

Kotb recently celebrated her first Halloween in the suburbs with her girls, showing off the family of three's costumes on her Instagram.

Hope wore a blue cheerleader costume, posing with her hand on her hip in one photo with her sister. Haley opted for a purple cheerleader uniform, smiling and carrying a white basket for her candy. Kotb included photos of the family of three trick-or-treating in the suburbs for the first time since they moved away from Manhattan.

"Boo!" Kotb wrote in her caption.
