HK star Cecilia Cheung gives watch to fan who waited to greet her at airport
KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 — Hong Kong celebrity Cecilia Cheung surprised a fan who waited for her at the airport with a watch as a gift.
The 43-year-old singer-actress had arrived at Hong Kong after performing in Taiwan when she saw fans waiting for her.
One of the fan even presented a bouquet of flowers to Cheung.
To express her appreciation, Cheung gave the fan the watch which was on her wrist, 163.com reported.
She reportedly said the watch was still new and she just wore it that day.
A check by the portal found that the watch is said to cost HK$4,980 (RM2,952) excluding tax and that she is the brand ambassador.
The mother of three boys is known for her thoughtfulness.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, she continued to pay workers full salaries despite suspending operations at her boutique.
Cheung’s shop reportedly suffered six figure losses for several months during the pandemic.
