KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 — Screen idol Chow Yun-fat clocked a respectable 1:03:58 in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon on Sunday.

The 67-year-old came in 5,103 placing out of the 20, 341 participants who took part in the run, hk01.com reported.

‘Mr Nice Guy’ also told the media in jest to wait for him to grow older as he is now still a kid when asked if we would participate in the half or full marathon next.

Chow said the weather was hot and humid hence it brought difficulties to runners.

“I ran slowly and took my time,” he reportedly said.

Chow also said he turned to running to keep fit after having climbed hills previously.

“I usually run every day, but I do not run 10 kilometres distance and I run slowly,” he added.

After the run, Chow also obliged fans with photographs.

During the Hong Kong Cross Country Championships 2022 in December, Chow clocked in an impressive 56 minutes and 39 seconds in his 10 kilometres category, coming in 37 among a group of 41 participants.
