KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat is known to jog to keep fit.

To thank his fans for their support of his latest movie One More Chance, the 68-year-old screen idol decided to run to cinemas in Hong Kong showing the movie recently.

Accompanied by actor Will Or Wai-lam, who plays Chow’s son in the movie, director Anthony Pun and producer Huang Binqi, they visited several cinemas in Wong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui to meet the fans, topick.hket.com reported.

According to the portal, the longest distance covered by the group was 5.5km and Chow still managed to maintain his composure and chatted with fans upon arriving at a cinema.

Fans also made a beeline for the cinemas when news broke that Chow would be meeting them there.

Besides locals, there were also fans from South Korea, Hawaii and Italy as shown by Chow, who spoke to them in fluent Korean and Japanese.

Responding to the overwhelming response from fans, Chow said although he was dripping in sweat from running, he was happy to see the fans’ support.

It was previously reported that Chow changed the course of his running route so he could show support for students taking public exams.

He reportedly passed by students who were waiting to enter the exam hall at Shek Kip Mei where he was captured on camera waving to them and wishing them good luck for the examination.
