Hins Cheung hasn't seen his parents for nearly a year
23 Sep – Hins Cheung recently revealed that he has been separated from his parents for nearly a year now due to the pandemic.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who made a rare appearance at the premiere of "Fatal Visit" recently, shared that he only got to speak to them via phone or video calls, as they are currently living in Guangzhou and there is no way for him to go and visit them.
"When the pandemic was more severe earlier, there were two confirmed cases where my parents' lived, so they had to be on lockdown. They really obeyed the rules, and even shopped online for things. Now that the situation is getting better, I hope to visit them," he said.
On the other hand, Hins revealed that his restaurant in Wan Chai has been closed for two months due to the pandemic, but that he refused to let go any of his employees.
"The F&B industry all over the world is facing this problem. It will never go back to the way it was but it's fine. There will always be gains and losses," he added.
