Hillary Clinton Mocks Elon Musk’s Baby-Faced Air Traffic Control Minions
Hillary Clinton quipped that most of Elon Musk’s baby-faced squad at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency “aren’t old enough to rent a car” after the tech billionaire announced that his team has begun overhauling the nation’s air safety rules.
Donald Trump’s freshly installed transportation secretary, Sean Duffy, first revealed that the Department of Government Efficiency Team would take on the still-nebulous project. The news comes a week after a mid-air collision between a jet and a helicopter killed 67 people in Washington, D.C.
“Big News - Talked to the DOGE team,” Duffy wrote in an X post on Wednesday. “They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system.”
It didn’t take long for Musk himself to chime in.
With the support of President @realDonaldTrump, the @DOGE team will aim to make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system.

“With the support of President @realDonaldTrump, the @DOGE team will aim to make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system,” he wrote on X.
Clinton—the former first lady, secretary of state, and Democratic presidential nominee—couldn’t help but take a jab at Musk’s team at DOGE, which reportedly has a core team of programmers aged 19 to 26.
“They have no relevant experience. Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car,” Clinton wrote in an X post directed at Duffy. “And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s already deteriorated on your watch?”
Throughout most of the U.S., you have to be at least 25 to rent a car without an added fee.

Musk’s way of responding to Clinton’s criticism was apparently to repost a conspiracy theory seeming to accuse her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, of financial fraud.
Musk’s DOGE team has received unprecedented access to sensitive government records since Trump’s inauguration, sparking outcry from Democrats.
Critics accuse the unelected multibillionaire, who owns Tesla and X, of staging a bureaucratic takeover of the federal government.
