The cast of Cheaper by the Dozen have reunited for a video reminiscing on the iconic 2003 film for a good cause.

17 years on from the film’s release, stars such as Hilary Duff, Bonnie Hunt, Piper Perabo, Tom Welling, Alyson Stoner and more recreated shots of their character, accompanied by the song I’m Just a Kid by Simple Plan.

Many shots show just how grown up the cast are now, with 22-year-olds Brett and Shane Kinsman, the twins who played Kyle and Nigel Baker, starting the video with a reenactment of their rambunctious characters.

Hilary Duff reenacts a tantrum from her character Lorraine, complete with a face mask, while Kevin G Schmidt, who played Henry, recreates *that* sick scene.

Each star shared the video with the caption: “Surprise! From the Baker family to yours. We are all in this together. #wearefamily."

The reunion video is the first time the cast have banded together since Cheaper by the Dozen 2 came out in 2005.

The cast’s reunion is in support of No Kid Hungry, a charity aiming to end childhood hunger in the US.

Cheaper by the Dozen was a remake of the 1950 film of the same name, based on the real-life story of the Gilbreth family.

Speaking to MTV in 2017, Schmidt revealed that Bonnie Hunt, who played mother Kate Baker, had initially written a script for the film that had a darker tone.

Hunt’s script followed the large family as they grappled with the news that their father was diagnosed with cancer - but 20th Century Fox wanted a "wacky, wacky family comedy”.

Hunt moved away from the film, but eventually signed on to play Kate after Fox cast Steve Martin as father Tom Baker.
