Duff welcomed her newborn daughter earlier this month
Hilary Duff is celebrating her first Mother's Day as a mom of four.
On Sunday, May 12, the Lizzie McGuire alum, 36, shared a sweet video on her Instagram of her husband Matthew Koma, 36, daughters Banks Violet, 5 and Mae James, along with son Luca, 12, whom she shares with ex Mike Comrie. The video also featured clips of couple's newborn baby girl Townes, whom they welcomed on May 3.
Set to the song "Canary Islands" by Goth Babe, the video featured a compilation of some intimate moments of Duff's recent life, including some footage of her and her kids snuggling up to her newborn, her daughters enjoying snacks on a park bench and reading a book with her husband, her son dancing and many bouquets of flowers in celebration of Mother's Day.

"Happy Mother’s Day- it’s messy and hard and high and low and sticky and bright and warming and beautiful," Duff wrote in the caption. "So grateful for all these people who chose me. So grateful to have this mayhem under one roof - appreciative of the support systems we have- grateful for my comic of a husband - all my friends, moms or not, and very important to also be grateful for myself."
"I dig deep every day to give enough or a little more to these people I love and really find out what I’m made of… I wouldn’t know how to do that if my mama didn’t do it for me♥️," she finished the heartfelt post. "Sending love out 😘💗💐✨"
Last week, Duff shared some photos of her newborn on Instagram, showing off a quiet moment between her and her now-youngest daughter. In the post, Duff could be seen cradling Townes on her chest while looking up and smiling.
"Townsie gahhh," she wrote over the image.

In December, Duff announced she was expecting another baby when she posted her family's Christmas card on Instagram, showcasing a picture of her cradling her growing belly.
"So much for silent nights," the card read. "Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew."
On the back of her card, Duff confirmed the news, writing, "Buckle up Buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch!"
In 2021, shortly after giving birth to Mae, Duff told PEOPLE that loves the "mayhem" of raising three kids.
"I have help, but babies just want their mom,” she said at the time. “Even Luca is still like, 'Mom, Mom, Mom.' Mom cooks the thing the right way, and Mom packs the bag the right way. It's crazy.”
The “Come Clean” singer also said that she is “so in love with all my kids” — and the busyness that comes with it.
"I love when everyone's full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your kid's going to say,” she told PEOPLE. “We're in the thick of it, and it feels good.”
