High Schooler With Disability Nails Half-Court Shot

A Kentucky high school junior with a disability has become an online sensation after he made an epic half-court shot on March 15.

Footage tweeted by Kenzi Forbis shows Campbellsville High School student Travis Nash landing the amazing basket during the school’s annual integrated basketball game.

Forbis, a student at the school, told Storyful that it does not have a dedicated team for students in its exceptional education program. So, each year, it holds an integrated game with the “special education dept kiddos”. The whole school turns out for the game, she said.

According to Forbis, Nash is a huge basketball fan. “Every day, after lunch he is in the gym shooting. This is his go-to shot! So when he fired it up off the tip, the whole gym LOST IT,” she said.
