HGTV Stars Bryan and Sarah Baeumler Have a New Show in the Works—But There's a Catch

Sarah and Bryan Baeumler have a new project in the works, but, so far, the HGTV stars are maintaining an air of mystery! We have to admit, our curiosity is officially piqued. Here's what we know: The Renovation Island stars have been in the Florida Keys renovating Pines and Palms Resort in Islamorada. During the process, a camera crew has been chronicling their progress, so, fans want to know, could this be the Baeumlers' next HGTV series?

On November 8, Sarah shared a photo of the beachside property, complete with palm trees and paddleboards. A camera crew is seen in the behind-the-scenes shot, and Sarah wrote, "Exciting day on site here at @pinesandpalmsresortislamorada, can't wait to share this project from construction to reveal with you very soon," followed by a winking face and movie camera emoji.

For his part, Bryan shared a photo of a sign saying, "Excitement is building," explaining that the resort is temporarily closed for renovations. Fans ran to the comments section to ask, "Does this mean a new show is coming to HGTV? 😉" and "Can’t wait….will it be on HGTV in USA?"

The natives of Canada have been tied to Corus Entertainment, which is launching two new TV networks, Flavour and Home, to replace Food Network Canada and HGTV Canada. Typically, the Baeumlers' shows (like Island of Bryan, which aired in the U.S. under the name Renovation Island) debut in Canada first. Corus Entertainment has announced that a new series Building Baeumler will be a part of their lineup, along with a new season of Renovation Resort, Bryan's series with Scott McGillivray.

According to a press release, Corus Entertainment describes the new show: "Building Baeumler sees fan-favourites Bryan and Sarah Baeumler give viewers an inside look at their lives as they tackle a resort renovation in the Florida Keys, expand their Bahamas property and invest in a new project in the area, and tackle a personal renovation back home in Canada."

Corus Entertainment says the series will be presented for international distribution, but HGTV has not confirmed any information about whether Building Baeumler will be airing in the U.S. We will be on the lookout for any new details!
