Home renovation lovers, rejoice: HGTV has been blessing us with so many new series lately. In April, we can catch the premiere of the Property Brothers' new star-studded series Celebrity IOU, as well as the network's newest title, Selling the Big Easy, which will feature New Orleans's colorful and culturally-rich real estate market.
At the helm of the series will be Brittany Picolo-Ramos, a NOLA native, and real estate superstar specializing in quintessential NOLA properties. The series will follow Picolo-Ramos alongside her full-service agency, as they take clients through some of the most vibrant, high-end homes that the city has to offer. Expect to see everything from a classic Victorian home located downtown, to a lakefront estate in the Metairie suburb, and even a colorful Paradise Park property established in the 1870s.
The goal of each episode is to help clients find their dream home, but also make top dollar for their current home. Besides touring some of the most extravagant and exclusive homes with clients, Picolo-Ramos will also work with her expert team to sell and stage clients' current homes. This might include adding some snazzy new pieces and colors to the home in order to create a Crescent City-inspired aesthetic.
“New Orleans is my hometown,” said Picolo-Ramos in a press release. “This city always makes you feel welcome with its incredible food, music and nightlife—and it’s home to the most beautiful and unique houses in America.” Selling the Big Easy premieres Friday, April 10, 2020 with back to back episodes at 9 pm and 9:30 pm.
