HGTV’s ‘The Flip Off’ Preview Video Documents Tension Between Christina Haack & Estranged Husband Josh Hall: “You’re Rude”
HGTV has released a new preview for their upcoming series, The Flip Off, which stars Christina Haack, Tarek El Moussa, and Heather Rae El Moussa.
The house flipping series was supposed to pit Haack and her husband, Josh Hall, against her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his new wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, and see which couple could profit more in their respective projects. However, Haack and Hall announced they were splitting amid filming, and cameras seemingly captured tense moments between the two.

“This is a competition. You gotta pull out all stops. Whatever it takes to win, I’ll do it,” Hall tells Haack in the preview, adding, “Hall’s rule!”
Haack doesn’t seem too excited about Team Hall, and her now estranged husband tells her, “You’re supposed to say it with me or repeat it or something that shows that you’re with me. Remember, you’re a Hall now. Don’t get confused in this competition about what your last name is.”
The Christina on the Coast star didn’t seem to respond to Hall, which prompted him to tell her, “You’re rude!”
“I don’t overtalk,” Haack said.
Hall then lashed out and said, “You know how much sh** you say and I’m just like, ‘I wish she’d shut up already.'”
“My wife is pissing me off already,” Hall is heard saying.
The preview then leads to the scene where Haack tells her ex-husband that she and Hall had split up.
The Flip Off was set to bring together Haack and El Moussa alongside their respective spouses, Heather and Hall, competing against each other flipping houses. However, HGTV confirms that “a sudden life change will bring a shocking twist. With even more to prove on her own, Christina will turn to her trusted team, stopping at nothing to silence Tarek’s endless bragging and beat him at his own flipping game.”
Guest judges set to appear on The Flip Off include The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow, Haack, and El Moussa’s moms Dominique and Laurie, Ant Anstead, Izzy Battres, Jeff Lawrence, and Jeff Lewis.
The Flip Off premieres on Wednesday, January 29 at 8 p.m. ET on HGTV.
