Here's How to Fight Food Insecurity in America Just by Setting Your Table
We've never needed the holiday spirit like we do right now, and The Annie Selke Companies are helping us kick off the season right with a fun way to raise money for food banks that have been hard-hit by the pandemic The Annie Selke Companies Tabletop Challenge will take place via social media from November 8 to 15, with each entry awarding a $50 donation to the brand's local food bank in western Massachusetts. And in a year of suffering and setbacks, those of us fortunate enough to have food on the table at every meal should do our part to help support food banks across the country that have been in even higher demand since the onset of stay-at-home orders in March.
All you have to do is set the table, post a picture of your tablescape on Instagram, and use the hashtag "#annieselkechallenge" with an explainer of why you set the table in the caption. Be sure to follow @annieselke on Instagram and share instructions for how your followers can fight food insecurity in our country by setting their own tables. The company will donate up to $10,000—that's 200 entries—so be sure to share this challenge with your loved ones. It's a great excuse to host an intimate Friendsgiving or make a weeknight dinner feel extra special.
