Henry Cavill Celebrates Father's Day as a Dad-to-Be: 'I Shall Be Joining Your Hallowed Ranks Soon! Any Tips??'

The actor confirmed in April that he and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso are expecting their first baby together

Henry Cavill is looking for your words of wisdom this Father's Day.

Cavill, 41, shared a selfie on Sunday, June 16, in front of a nursery and asked for fatherly advice from his followers ahead of becoming a dad. He and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso are expecting their first baby together.

"Oh yeah.....and Happy Father's Day ye dads out there," the Man of Steel actor wrote in his Instagram caption. "Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips??"

Cavill also reassured his followers that they wouldn't be keeping the pillows in the baby's crib, joking that their child would be crafting figurines instead, referring to the Warhammer 40,000 adaptation that he and Viscuso were working on together.

Cavill confirmed in April that he and Viscuso are expecting a child.

"I'm very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited about it. I'm sure you'll see much more of that,” he told Access Hollywood at the The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare's New York City premiere when asked about fatherhood being in his future.

The reporter also told Cavill that he would make a "great dad," to which the actor said, "Thank you."

The Argylle actor and producer at Vertigo Entertainment went Instagram official with their relationship in April 2021, posing while playing a game of chess.

They made their red carpet debut as a couple in October 2022 at the Enola Holmes 2 premiere. Two months later, they announced their project adapting the Warhammer 40,000 game together.

In an Instagram post, Cavill called their collaboration "a blessing beyond words, [as] without her we might not have found the perfect home at Amazon."

Viscuso also spoke highly of their upcoming partnership.

"Fantasy, horror and sci-fi are the bedrock of my creative language," she wrote on Instagram. "So when Henry introduced me to Warhammer a couple of years ago, I immediately felt at home."
