Helmet prevents serious injury as cyclist slams into motorcyclist on Chinese road

A helmet saved a cyclist's life after he slammed into a crossing motorcyclist in southern China. CCTV footage filmed in the city of Liuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on September 29 shows the cyclist crashing into an electric bike running the red light and turning left. The cyclist then somersaulted before landing head first onto the ground. Since the cyclist wore a helmet, he only suffered minor scratches to his shoulder and leg. The electric biker was blamed for the incident. The video was provided by local media with permission.
