BEIJING, Sept 21 — A Chinese woman’s 58-page PowerPoint presentation detailing her boyfriend’s infidelity with over 300 women has gone viral, leading to his dismissal from his job.

According to South China Morning Post (SCMP), the post became the top trending topic on Weibo, with 300 million views on September 19.

The woman, who began dating the man known only as Shi, in October last year, compiled the exposé after discovering his year-long affairs.

In the PowerPoint presentation, it was revealed that the man had from March to August, paid between 2,500 and 5,000 yuan (RM1,490 to RM2,980) for at least nine visits to sex workers, and shared romantic messages with around 300 women he met on dating apps.

SCMP said the woman had initially believed Shi to be a “gentleman”, but her world was turned upside down in June when she uncovered explicit messages between him and multiple women.

After pleading for forgiveness, she claimed she forgave him to avoid distressing his parents. However, when she discovered he continued cheating in September, she decided to publicly expose his actions.

The man is a management trainee at China Merchants Bank’s Shenzhen headquarters.

Shi recently graduated from the School of Economics at Xiamen University and was enrolled in a programme at China Merchants Bank aimed at training young professionals for leadership positions, often providing competitive salaries and career advancement, reported SCMP.

On September 19, the bank announced that Shi had been fired and expelled from the Chinese Communist Party after an investigation into the allegations, according to Chinese media outlet Securities Times.

The woman also stated that she would report his illegal involvement with prostitutes to the police.

The public response to the exposé has sparked widespread debate online, with some praising the woman’s actions while others questioned Shi’s professional conduct.

One user was quoted as saying, “How did he find time for 300 women while working at China Merchants Bank?”
