Klum served as host for the first 16 seasons of Project Runway (2004–2017), which aired on Bravo and Lifetime. She won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program, among a handful of additional nominations throughout the years.

In 2019, the series returned to Bravo, with Karlie Kloss replacing Klum as host, and Season 4 winner Christian Siriano replacing Tim Gunn as mentor.

It was announced in Oct. 2024 that Project Runway would return in 2025, this time on Freeform, where the series would evolve “for a new generation.” In the initial announcement, producers promised that the refresh would “honor our die-hard Project Runway fans” while also introducing new and innovative ideas.

Along with Project Runway, Klum is a regular judge on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, which returns for Season 20 later this year. She is also the co-creator and co-host of Prime Video’s Making the Cut, alongside former Project Runway mentor Tim Gunn; its third season streamed in 2022.
