Heavy Snowfall Blankets Parts of Newfoundland After Winter Storm

Snow blanketed parts of Newfoundland, Canada on Wednesday, December 16, as a winter storm bore down on the region.

This footage posted to Twitter shows regional part of Newfoundland, near Gros Morne National Park covered in think layers of snow.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, nearby Deer Lake Airport recorded 20 centimetres of snow on the night of Tuesday, December 15. Credit: @earthspace101 via Storyful
