Heavy Snow in Virginia as Winter Storm Sweeps Eastern States
Heavy snow fell across Virginia early on Monday morning, January 3, as a storm system threatened mid-Atlantic states with several inches of snow, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
The NWS forecast up to eight inches of snow in parts of the Virginia, DC and Maryland region.
