Heavy Snow Falls Across Eastern Iowa

Heavy snow reduced visibility and covered roadways across Iowa on Thursday morning, February 4, as a snow band packing the potential for blizzard conditions moved over the state.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said as of 8:55 am there were “multiple” accidents across central Iowa as visibility was reduced to a quarter of a mile.
