Heavy Rainfall From Remnants of Ida Leaves Newark Airport Flooded

All flight activity was suspended at Newark Liberty International Airport after the remnants of Hurricane Ida brought severe flooding to the area on September 1.

Passengers were diverted from ground-level areas affected by flooding at the airport.
