“Moderate to heavy” rain triggered a flood advisory in eastern Los Angeles County, California, on Wednesday, December 4, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported.
The NWS of Los Angeles said many areas in Southern California got at least a half-inch of rain, with parts of Los Padres National Forest seeing more than three inches of rain. The NWS said flooding could affect roads and parking lots.
The weather service urged drivers to use caution when traveling on wet and slippery roads. The Los Angeles Times said there were “dozens” of crashes during Wednesday morning’s commute.
