The National Weather Service (NWS) reported that up to three inches of rain fell in the Tampa Bay area on Thursday, September 1.

Video posted by the NWS Tampa Bay on Thursday shows heavy rain causing minor flooding in Ruskin. The NWS said “Florida is doing that Florida thing where it’s pouring, but the sun is out.”
