Health Care Protesters Sing Outside Toulouse Hospital as France Partially Reopens

Demonstrators gathered outside the Purpan hospital in Toulouse, France, on May 11 to protest against the handling of the coronavirus outbreak and push for more resources for health care workers and the medical system battling the coronavirus.

This video was taken outside the hospital during protests attended by some staff from the hospital. According to local reports, among the demands from protesters were bonus pay for medical workers, as well as increased staffing.

On Monday, France started a slow unwinding of lockdown restrictions in place to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
