Heads Up: Travis Kelce Will *Not* Be Going to the 2024 Grammys With Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the textbook definition of a power couple. Case in point: the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is set to compete at his third (!!!) Super Bowl while Taylor's 2022 album Midnights is nominated for six Grammys. After the "Cruel Summer" crooner made headlines for her (incredibly relatable) presence at the 2023 Grammys, it's unclear whether she'll be performing—or even in attendance—at this year's ceremony.
How! Ever! That hasn't stopped #Traylor shippers from wondering if Travis will pull up to support Tay. She's been to a few of his games this football season, and she can technically make it to the Super Bowl despite playing her Tokyo Eras tour date the night before. Naturally, Swifties have hopes that the athlete will match her energy.
Long story short: Travis won't make it to the Grammys with Tay. Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that he'll be arriving for the big game in Las Vegas the same weekend as the Grammys, which take place at the Crypto.com Arena in LA. Per the outlet, the Chiefs "will be on a strict schedule ahead of squaring up to the 49ers for the Super Bowl."
Given that the pair packed on some major PDA at the Chiefs' last game and said those three little words with eight letters to each other, they'll prob be just fine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Taylor also expressed how much they actively support each other during her TIME Person of the Year interview.
"When you say a relationship is public, that means I'm going to see him do what he loves, we're showing up for each other, other people are there and we don't care," she said in the December 2023 interview. "The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you're seeing someone. And we're just proud of each other."
